The core team at ESK includes Managing Director, Joe Holohan our General Manager, David O’Brien and Mary Foley and Jane Jones who look after administration and accounts respectively. David O’Brien has been leading the team at ESK since he joined the company in 2008 initially as a project manager. Our clients and staff have great time for David, he is very personable, capable and dedicated. His strong background in civil engineering and construction prior to joining ESK ensured he hit the ground running and almost 20 years later the wealth of knowledge and experience he brings to the team and every project is extraordinary.

We also employ a superb team of 30 who work onsite on our projects and our maintenance team who ensure our equipment is always in pristine condition. Our onsite team is a remarkable collection of civil engineers, excavator operators and ground workers. They are quality driven, committed to safety and experienced experts in their fields. We are passionate about staying innovative and setting standards within our industry. Our strong emphasis on the continuous professional development of our team demonstrates our commitment to ensure our team are the best in the business.

For all new employees there is a full company and safety induction, and all current employees have a reinduction annually to inform them of current regulations and policies. All staff are provided with work packs twice a year, summer and winter, including full Hi-Vis uniform to ensure safety and a professional attire on all our sites.

We look after our team well, as we simply couldn’t operate without our team. Similarly, our fleet of modern plant machinery to complement them is of the utmost importance. Our plant equipment is serviced and maintained in house in our purpose-built workshop complemented with our mobile on-site service unit. All machinery is independently certified on an annual basis and we continuously upgrade our fleet. This year alone we acquired a 30- ton Komatsu excavator, three 6-ton Kubota excavators and two new work vehicles. In addition to the machinery fleet, we have an array of attachments and small plant and tools such as pipe welding equipment and level controls for excavators to ensure our workforce is using the most efficient and state of the art equipment possible.
